Adjust 3D Touch – Make it Work for You

3D Touch is a new,  highly sensitive reaction to how much pressure you apply to apps on your iPhone. It reacts immediately, while also allowing different “levels” of actions based on how firmly you press. If you have problems with the sensitivity of 3D Touch, you can change it. Go into Settings > General > Accessibility > 3D Touch. Move the guide from light to firm to get your personal setting. There is a sample image there so you can test the setting to meet your personal needs.

Hi, I followed your directions but do not have a 3D button to push or activate. Is it possible I don’t have the most recent iPhone update although it says I’m updated

My previous response to this question was inaccurate. I shouldn’t answer questions at 2 am! There is no button for 3D Touch. 3D Touch is the ability press hard on specific apps to access new features. Try it out with Photos. Hold down hard on the Photos app and see the new options that you get.
