If you need to look up a word in the dictionary here are a couple of tips to speed up the process. This works in most apps.

Place your cursor on a word and press Control – Command – D

Request Dictionary

Click on the word more in the bottom right corner and you will get a larger window with the option to increase the font size included. You also can switch to a Thesaurus or Wikipedia from the same window.
