If you have used Mail as your email account very long you know that it saves email addresses for you and most of the time that is a wonderful feature. However, sometimes you need to remove one or more of those addresses.
Someone says, don’t send me emails at work, or you have an addresses that doesn’t work any more. Fortunately, it is easy to remove those addresses from your list so that you don’t have to worry about selecting them when you don’t mean to do so.
With Mail open, select Window from the toolbar and then choose Previous Recipients.
A list of all the stored email addresses, along with the dates each was saved will appear. You can scroll through the list, highlight any you want to remove, and hit delete, or click the Remove From List button in the bottom left corner.
