It is not hard to burn a CD of your music — if you follow the steps. Otherwise it will drive you batty.
First thing to know is don’t insert the CD until told to do so. There, I just saved you lots of frustration.
Create a Playlist of the songs you want to burn. Choose File > New Playlist. A new folder appears under Playlists in the far left column. Name it and drag all the songs you want on your CD into that folder.
Now open the Playlist folder and make sure your music totals less than 1.2 hours. Make whatever adjustments are necessary to get it down to less than 1.2 hours (72 minutes).
Once you have it all set, click the Burn Disc button located in the bottom right-hand corner of the iTunes window. The big window at the top of the iTunes window will tell you to insert a blank disc.
Once you insert it, iTunes will begin burning the songs in your playlist onto the CD. And that’s all there is to it.
